Strategies of Invention-Maker Education in Korea

Abstract
This study was conducted in elementary, middle and high schools in Korea and was intended to suggest a facilitation plan for improving students' problem-solving ability and creativity by integrating invention education and maker education.
Today, the fourth industrial revolution and artificial intelligence are spreading throughout society worldwide, and in Korea, along with invention education, maker education is becoming the trend. The government and the private sector are continuously expanding the makerspace, and various educational programs are being developed. To respond to this, the maker space is continuously expanding and various educational programs are being developed. In this context, in this study, three ways to promote invention maker activity by combining invention education and maker education were presented. In other words, it is an invention activity-driven type, a maker activity-driven type, and an invention and maker activity-driven type. It is thought that invention activity and maker activity will be activated if each promotion method is considered and selectively utilized.Keywords
